To use our store, please click on the date of your photo shoot within the Categories column on the left. You can then select your surname and enter the password that has already been provided. 

What nicer present or memory could you possibly have than capturing your baby or child in a high quality underwater photo, anything from 5 x 7 right up to the largest canvas.

 

On the Day

If you already attend Southdowns for swimming lessons, please practice submerging in a duckling dive by using the standard commands with your baby or child.

Our photography is conducted with Nick Ball and an experienced swim teacher. Please discuss which poses you would like and who you would like in the photo, i.e. mum and baby. Several photos will be taken, with a flash, please try and smile, with your chin up slightly. For that ultimate picture try to avoid blowing too many bubbles.

Preparation and attention to detail is important so ensure that no costume straps fall down during the photo, and that waterproof mascara is worn to prevent runs; not a good look!, Ensure no nappy is showing and that you are happy with your pose in the photo.  Older children can enjoy jumping in or performing a mushroom float on their own or in a family pose. Props can be used i.e. their favorite dressing up outfit, pretty flower girl, mermaid, an underwater spiderman or swimming through a hoop can all make for stunning photos. 

Every Grandparent will love to receive a photo for their Christmas or birthday present, so why not purchase the CD. This gives you the choice of all the high resolution photos taken in your sitting and you will be able to print off as many of the photo's as you wish. They also make great pictures for screen savers and digital photo frames.

The photos will be placed in your own password protected gallery, here on our PhotoStore approx one week after the shoot. Payment is required with all orders before the pictures or CD’s are processed.
